Flawless Imperfection
I am neither
The greatest beauty
Nor the owner
Of all things fancy
I am me
And I am free
Contributing
To all this diversity.
How Do I Know if Your Promises Are True?
I dropped you a word from heaven
So that you would have a vision.
I bought you at a price
Your days aren’t supposed to just go by.
I let you wade in some darkness
So that you would experience My faithfulness.
I planted in you a passion
So that you would pursue Me with abandon.
I hide from you my most intricate plans
Not to make you tip toe, uncertain
But to keep you fully immersed
In our every moment together.
I lay before you this narrow path
Because you are meant to be
Set apart.
Haiku No. 22
An ode to the joy of running.
People, Places, and Perspectives.
feet pound the surface
beads form, glisten and dissolve
adrenaline high
Silence
There may be silence between us
After the first “hello”
But thoughts that reverberate
On the same plane
Will always bring you
Back into my world.
In response to today’s prompt, Silence | The Daily Post
Set for Life
A post written on this day two years ago.
People, Places, and Perspectives.
Comfort
In my own skin
Though in a swanky high rise
I live not.
The worthiness
Of being me
The one and only me
In my own very league
There’s no need for yardsticks.
The value
That I can bring
My inimitable unique selling point
The legacy
I can leave
As exclusive
As my finger print.
Know this
Don’t live the lie
The Joneses
Have their own battles to fight
Be free, be you
And you are
Set for life.
Haiku No. 35
Pantun Enam Kerat Tanpa Tajuk
Terbitnya mentari
Di ufuk timur
Demi mimpi
Sanggupku tersungkur
Penat ku lari
Baik dari berdengkur
Haiku No. 34
oh my restless heart
I have found my God-sized dream
can’t do it alone
duhhh?
Haiku No. 33

rhythmic click – heels in gold
